Mr. Narendra Kumar Ojha

Mr Ojha is well versed with the Indian, English, American and IB school education systems. He has to his credit about 25 years of experience in the field of academic in particular and administration, in general.

Having started his career as an Assistant professor, Mr Ojha shifted to school education and was a senior Biology teacher with the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for 14 years. He has authored 3 text books in Biology and a Curriculum Guide for teachers. He is an ex member of the Board of Governors of CBSE and an honoured member of the Core Committee for granting autonomy to schools.

Mr Ojha secured his Bachelor's and Master's degree with high honours from the University of Rajasthan. He earned a degree in Advanced Training in Science Education at Chelsea College of the University of London. He also has training in organising' In-Service Training Courses' from the University of Leeds, UK. In 1980, he became the first Asian to work on 'Curriculum Development' at the University of London, for the award of Associateship of Chelsea College which was conferred on him in March 1982.

In May 2001, he was elected as a fellow of the International Biographical Research Foundation. The International Diploma of Honour has been conferred upon him in 2000 by the American Biographical Society, USA. He has also completed a course in Education Leadership Programme in 2002.

In 2001, Mr Ojha become the first Indian to be nominated to the Regional Heads Representative Committee and Regional Advisory Committee of the International Baccalaureate Organisation – Asia Pacific Region.

Mr Ojha's years of dedicated service have brought him several richly deserved honours.
